Picnic Time

Best friends forever

Good morning, everybody!
How are you today?

Do you feel alright? Who is

absent today?
Well, students,
first, I would
like you to look
at this picture.
What food and drinks
do you see in the
picture?
As you may see,
today’s topic is “Picnic
Time”. Let’s look at
new words that we
can use while talking
about food.

Let’s start with the first exercise. Here you need

to listen carefully to the audio and repeat the
words.

Exercise 2
In this exercise, we need to match the words
with the numbers in the picture. For example,
we already know that the word number 1 is
lemonade.
Exercise 3
In the third exercise you need to listen to the audio and to
hear what children (Sarah, Paul, Jake) like and what they
don't like, and complete the chart. Do you understand what
to do?

So, children, maybe you

remember something about
Present Simple?

Well, let's remember now what

the Present Simple, and rules of
use of this tense.
Exercise 5

We have revised the material about the

Present simple. Now, let’s do the next
exercise.

In this exercise you need to put words in the correct order. Do you
understand the task?

2. cereal/Helen/like/John/and/don’t.
3. dislike/I/lemonade.
4. We/noodles/like.
5. like/Does/Lora/salad.
6. dislike/We/cupcakes.

8. fruit/I/and/milkshake/like.

Exercise 6
Now, pupils, we are going to
do an exercise related to
Present Simple. Read
attentively sentences and
complete each sentence with
the correct form of verb in
Present Simple.

Exercise 7
Speaking practice: Have
a look at the picture.
Let’s talk about our
likes and dislikes. I’ll
start. I like fruit. I
don’t like sandwiches. I
love vegetables. I dislike
noodles. I enjoy cereal. I
hate coffee. Now,
what about you?
Nadia, what do you
like?
Children, today we’ve learnt how to talk
about food. Also, we have discussed the
grammar topic “Present Simple”. What
was the most interesting for you? Do you
have any questions before we finish the
