questioned who did it?, Yusuf pbuh placed the cup and questioned who stole it?) and provides Grain to Brethren so that on their return, Brethren would be pleasantly

surprised Yaqub (pbuh) would know the ruler is generous and send forth BinYameen

• Yaqub pbuh is showing his practice of taqwa and relinquishes the fruit of action as he did in the start of the story , “ relate not the story to your brothers “ and towards the

end “ sons, do not enter from one gate….” take ur precautions, do ur part.

Kun!” the mention of Yusuf pbuh to the king this works in favor as the first impression is the most important, so had he being mentioned to the king earlier / before the king

had such a significant dream, the true value of the prophets gift would not have been highlighted, but when several prominent chiefs gave up that’s when the prophet

stepped in and was instantly released and launched into high ranks ( like a blockbuster release !) . Had his talent surfaced via interpreting dreams of the two companions the

impact on his repurtation may not have been so significant as it did receive years laters when he rose to fame for interpreting the Kin’gs dream correctly where many of the

chiefs failed.

• Satan is aware of the benefit the cup bearer may bring and hence causes forgetfulness. Similar to Mosa’s pbuh assistant who forgot to mention the fish escaping into the

water during their travel to seek Al khidr

individual too.  At his death, man reverses in successive steps towards that being from which he originated. The speech merges into mind, the mind into prana, the prana

into heat and the heat, the last to depart, into the Pure Being

1. Core message of Islam is submission to the will of God,
peace is attained in this pursuit. …accept the outcome

and how to live this life as a preparation for the next.
Prayer,Fasting,Charity,Hajj
3. Focus is on the unseen/hereafter, fewer rituals and
objects to aid in worship
4. Extreme emphasis on creator and his prophets as
compared to self and self realization
5. Majority of Muslims don’t understand Arabic,
consequently , lesser appreciation for own religion and
that of other s , assuming that fault finding in other
religions is sufficient proof of solidarity to their own
faith.
6. A general misunderstanding on Destiny and
predetermination resulting in a self limiting belief that
our actions can NOT significantly alter destiny, hence
methods like Astrology, Horoscopes, Vastu are not
practiced
– Hinduism (present life)
1. Central message of the Gita is renunciation of the “Fruit of
Action” .i.e. all actions should be carried out to the outmost
ability without hankering over the result. In other words
submit your will to God’s will and accept outcomes
2. Gita emphasizes on worldly life (rebirths) and how to live in
the now and prepare for life’s journey through its wonderful
system of Varnas, Ayurveda, Bhakti-Karma- Jnana Yoga ,
jyothiswani etc
3. Focus is on the visible/ seen/present hence Idols are a
significant aid in worship, rituals too are more prevalent
4. Extreme emphasis on self and self realization and Gurus as
compared to creator
5. Majority of Hindus don’t understand Sanskrit, consequently ,
lesser appreciation for own religion and that of others ,
assuming that fault finding in other religions is sufficient
proof of solidarity to their own faith.
6. Too much emphasis on actions that can alter destiny leading
to superstitions in practicing Astrology, Vastu etc
