"UKM SPEAC learning community activities so motivated me in learning English. Because after I join this community I
have the status as a member. I feel I bear the moral burden that "speac members must be able to speak Arabic/English".
but I always emphasize how I prepare myself to carry the burden. In fact, that was the biggest impetus for me to learn
English while being a part of this community. “

The interview shows that ukm speac learning community can motivate students in learning English
because the students are surrounded by a positive environment and their responsibilities as commitees

questions or express opinions, this is also quite a role in practicing my pronunciation’’

‘’grammar is the most frequently discussed topic in study club activity and of course it became my capital
to enrich my knowledge and understanding of grammar’’
‘’
Study club activity is very helpful for me to increase my vocabulary because before I teach my member. I
invite my member to have deposit vocab in advance at least 20 vocab. I indirectly participated in
memorizing my members' memorization savings.’’

correctly. It was not only me who spoke, but other participants as well, so I could learn some pronunciation from
them.’’
