Why are animals

endangered?
ANIMALS ENDANGERED BECAUSE
• People hunt them
• People destroy their habitats
• People pollute air, water, cut trees
Polar bears
Why are polar bears endangered?
• The main reason why polar bears are
endangered is global warming. They
lost their habitat.
• Because of global warming the world
gets hotter and the ice where polar
bears live melts. Polar bears can swim,
but not for a long distance. So they may
drown.
• Also, because of global warming, it is
harder for them to catch seals and they
may starve to death.
Pandas
Why are pandas endangered?
• Pandas are endangered because
people cut down forests.
• Bamboo plants don’t grow fast
and can die. That’s why pandas
haven’t home or food and may
starve to death.
Tigers
Why are tigers endangered?
• Tigers are endangered because people
hunt them for their body parts ( skin,
bone, meat) to make medicine.
• They lost their habitats because people
cut down tree.
• People also hunt them because they want
their skins to make clothes and rugs.
If people just weren’t throwing
garbage on the ground, the world
would be a better place.

Now you can change

the world.
