Academic Honors And Awards
 Academic honors and awards are
given in the semestral reports and final
grading period. Meritorious word is
indicated by the Gold (w/ highest honors),
Silver (w/ high honor), and Bronze (with
honor).

1. Gold – A Student receives “gold” if has an
average of 98 – 100* percent with no grade below
80 percent.

2. Silver – A student receives “silver” if he/she


has an average of 95-97* percent with no
grade below 80 percent.

3. Bronze – A student receives “bronze” if he/she


has an average of 90-94* percent with no grade
below 80 percent.
The report card contains comment codes in coder to help students and
parents understand the grades recorded in the card. The comment code are
follow:
D – Participates actively in class L – Late in submission of
discussions project/assignment
E – Does not submit homework N – Gets low score in
F – Does not turn in project/s homework/laboratory/output
G – Gets low test/quiz marks P – Shows positive behavior towards
H – Shows inattentiveness in class work
class Q – Submits consistently quality
I – Shows inconsistency in class schoolwork
attendance X – Shows habitual disruptive behavior
J – Gets low quarterly test Y – Consistently speaks English
Z – Shows good behavior (refers to
COMMENT CODE attitude towards school work and others)
Deportment Grades

A = two or more Z’s B = one X


A- = one Z B- = two X’s
B+ = no Z, no X C = three or more X’s

- An X in the card should be supported with Behavioral Referrals.


- A grave misconduct or misbehavior = automatic C in deportment
ACADEMIC REFERRALS

Academic referrals are issued each


quarter to some parents whose children
have not been doing well in their
academics for the first half of the quarter.

The notice is addressed to the parents through their children.


Disruptive Behaviors
1. Frequent transferring of seat during class without permission
from the teacher.
2. Continuous talking, speaking indecent/vulgar words, making
unnecessary sounds despite of warning.
3. Boisterous laughter
4. Frequent going out of the classroom
5. All forms of defiance
6. Coming in late during exchange of periods
7. Borrowing books during class hours
8. Asking for pieces of paper/borrowing ball pen
9. Engage in fight
