SOM faculty conducts finance

workshop for GMR
Dr. Amit Bagga, Adjunct Associate Professor, SOM,
conducted a training on a finance project at GMR
upcoming airports for two days on February 18-19th
2020. Dr. Bagga was assisted by Mr. Raghav Khunteta,
MBA Finance 2018, SOM, BMU, and Ms. Nikita Singh,
MBA-Finance 2018, SOM, BMU.

SOM conducts FDP for faculty

members and doctoral students
SOM conducted a FDP on 27th February 2020 for
faculty members and doctoral students. Facilitator
for the workshop was Dr. Smriti Anand, Associate
Professor of Management, Illinois Institute of
Technology, Chicago USA. The workshop was on
publishing 101: Writing for top-tier journals- theory
building, publishing process, how to mentor
doctoral students.

SOM Faculty conducts workshop

on leadership
Dr. Payal Kumar, Professor, SOM conducted a
workshop for MBA second year students on 26th
February 2020. The workshop focused on
leaning about leadership through a theatre
workshop.

SOM faculty speaks at FDP

conducted by BPS University
Dr. Ritu Chikkara, Assistant Professor, SOM was
invited as a speaker at BPS University, Sonipat at
FDP on Fostering Industry Academia Partnership
on 20th February 2020.

Dr. Payal Kumar, Professor and Chair, HR&OB,
attended AIMA- HRM conclave on HR strategies
on Talent technology and Training on 12th
February 2020 with MBA First Year students.

Mr. Sumit Shandilya, Adjunct Assistant Professor,
School of Management, took a session on Time and
Project Management for the young managers of Rane,
NSK on 7th February 2020.
