which comes every 9th month of the Islamic

◦ Most preferable food are; Biryani, Pulao, Seekh

◦ Die heart desserts are kheer, gajar ka halwa,
sohan halwa and Faloda (it is based on four
layers, ice cream sundae with milk, rose syrup,
dried fruits and noodles on the top
◦ Ramadan fasts start from sunrise to sunset
◦ Chand rat (Night of the moon), associated
with Hena( mehndi), bangels, fancy
dresses, shoes and preparation of
delicious food
◦ Eid ul Fittar (muslim gives charity to poor
and needy people) and Eid ul Azha (an
animal scarified and divided in three parts
(first for poor people, second is for home
and third is for relatives)
