1. Identify if PL-ready/installed or not on your product
2. Mount A5N2 following ‘A5N2 rules’
3. Mount Radio(s) following ‘Radio rules’
4. Install PRO/Elite harness without radio connection
5. Connect 8 main wires to the equipment
6. Key ON and Winflash via Ethernet cable
7. Upload Config file (if any, get or create it)
8. ET Checks and ET Configuration
9. Connect Radio(s)
10. Launch Service Dashboard Communication-check
• Shock mounted
• Horizontally mounted
• In harness reach
• Within Temperature and Moisture range
• Don’t forget ground strap
• 1m max CAN-length to main trunk if shielded (PS)
• 3m max CAN-length to main trunk if not shielded (EM)

Modbus
• Modbus® is an openly published serial communications
protocol developed by Modbus with widespread use in
industry. This protocol is commonly used over RS-232, RS-
485, and Modbus TCP/IP networks. The RS-232, and RS-
485 version is a master/slave protocol, whereas the
TCP/IP version is a peer-to-peer protocol. The strengths of
this protocol are simplicity and low implementation cost.
