Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participants will be


able to:
 Identify the prohibited drugs and substances on site.
 Grasp the company's policy vis a vis drug, alcohol
and firearms.

Policy
 The use, possession, distribution, purchase or sale of any
illegal drugs or other controlled substances by any person
while on Site is prohibited.
 The use of any illegal drug or other controlled substances or
alcohol that causes or contributes to unacceptable job
performance or unusual job behavior is prohibited.
 The unauthorized use, possession, transportation, or sale of
alcoholic beverages by persons while on Site is prohibited.
 The use, possession, transportation, or sale of explosives,
unauthorized flammable materials, firearms, or other
weapons by persons while on Site is prohibited.
 Any person violating this policy shall be removed from Site.
In appropriate cases, local law enforcement agencies will be
advised of violations

Policy

Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or


alcohol will be removed from site.

Inform your Supervisor if you are taking prescription medication.


Drug and Alcohol
Policy

Unauthorised drugs and alcohol will be confiscated if found


on site, and could result in termination of employment.

Random drug and alcohol testing may be carried out.

Counseling is available if you believe you have a problem.

Policy
 Unauthorized Prescription Drugs
 Employees on CCC premises who are using
prescription drugs under doctor's orders must notify
supervision prior to beginning work of the identity
and dosage of such prescription drugs.
 The project physician shall assess and determine if a
prescription drug or mediation produces hazardous
affects on the employee. Hence he may restrict the
drug use on company premises or restrict the
employees, work activity.

The effects of alcohol and drug

Large amounts of alcohol can result in:

· headaches;
