DEFINE SCHEDULE LINE
Schedule lines contain all the delivery related information such as Delivery dates; Quantities; Transfer requirements and
Inventory management.

Control of the schedule lines depends on the schedule line category. In SAP we have the following options to define schedule
line categories:
 Change an existing schedule line category.
 Copy an existing schedule line category and change it according to your requirements.
 Create a new schedule line category.

Schedule Line category in different sales documents.

Inquiry: Schedule line is for information purpose
• No availability check .
• Not relevant for delivery.

Quotation: Schedule line is not relevant for delivery

• No Movement type (Movement type describes type of material movement)

Sales Order : Schedule line is relevant for delivery

• Movement type is 601.
