There is Fortune in YouTube
This research is a case study about the legitimacy of earning

money from YouTube.
This study will be valuable to everyone, specially for

aspiring vloggers and content creators in the near future
who want to establish their own YouTube channel and earn
money by creating vlogs.
The study is limited only to YouTubers who passed 100,000

subscribers and above, and who received the Silver Play Button or
the Gold Play Button if possible. The researcher messaged some
famous vloggers who already passed the 100,000 mark (subscribers)
and one of them will be the one to answer the questions for this
research.

RELEVANT INFORMATION FROM THE LITERATURE

Making money from YouTube used to be as simple as uploading great content,
garnering millions of views, and earning a share of advertising revenue. Now,
content creators have access to multiple ways to monetize their content. In
addition to advertising, this can include corporate sponsorships from a major
brand, fan funding or merchandise sales. (Mary Hall 2020)

The number of views, the after-view comment rate, and the after-view attitude
expression rate all have significant positive effects on a YouTuber's yearly
revenues; however, the number of subscriptions to a YouTuber's channel does
not have a significant effect on his/her yearly revenues. In addition, a
YouTuber's yearly revenues decrease as his/her channel gets older. (Bo Han
2020)

The convenience and far reach of the internet has given millions of
people the ability to make a living by monetizing just about any skill,
talent or opportunity. But, as is the case with any moneymaking
venture, a lot of misconceptions surround certain strategies. (Anna
Johansson 2016)

This is not a sure-fire way a creator will definitely be paid,
since a creator needs over a certain number of viewers to see
the advertisements before the creator can make any actual ad
revenue. (Cornell University 2015)

How vloggers earn money with the help of YouTube?
- For our respondent, the first thing he did is to make regular

videos and post them on YouTube to gain more views and
subscribers.

- After he reached a certain number of subscribers, he applied at the Adobers

Studios - an ABS-CBN company/management that manages and helps
vloggers. After applying, the management fixed the monetization process so
that his videos will be monetized.
- The respondent added that you can earn more money if you
have brand-partnerships. Those famous brands will produce
advertisements into your video that is equivalent to a certain
amount of money.

is budget. Budget is needed in creating content.

- And the other struggle is the people. The respondent said

that we cannot please people.

The process of monetization in the YouTube Industry.
- Based on the interview, the respondent said that he didn’t experience the
process of monetization. He enrolled himself at the Adobers studios and the
management did the work. The Adobers studios help the respondent to file the
monetization and fix the papers needed to be monetized.

CONCLUSION
Vlogging is not an easy thing.

Brand-partnerships can make more money for
YouTube videos.
To feel the fortune in YouTube, everything will
definitely start from nothing.
