The Condition of a PLANT that Safely meets its Design


Criteria and Intended Purpose.

Where a Deviation from these exist they have been


Identified and Assessed and any Changes necessary to
ensure continued safe, efficient operation have been
implemented.
Technical Integrity
Engineering (TIE)

The condition of a PLANT that meets its Design Criteria and


Intended Purpose.
As defined in the AFC Deliverables and applied through all stages.
Demonstrated by Auditable Records,
From Inspection Test Records (ITR), Inspection & Test Procedures,
Check sheets etc, MC1, SH1 through to PP1
Where deviation from these exist
Change request raised, MOC, EQ, TQ, FCN’s etc…..

They have been Identified and Assessed and any changes necessary to
ensure continued Safe, Efficient Operation have been Implemented.
Design Authority reviews, approves and reissues for use
Technical Integrity (TI)

Technical Integrity needs to be demonstrated by


ITRs
(It is a Legal Requirement)
• Conducted to Procedure
• By Competent and Authorised people
Technical Integrity (TI)

Everyone has a Responsibility to maintain TI


(at all times)

The requirement for TI can vary with time


(A pipe may be without lagging in the summer but not in winter)
