• SQ3R: Question Formation
• Form at least 5 ‘who, what, where, when, why, how’ questions about what you consider to be
'essential elements' of the text.

• Disadvantages/Limitations/Negatives?
• What reasons does the author use as support?
• Where does the story take places?
• What is the authors final comment?
• Why does the author feel this way?

• You can also focus questions on the topic to get more information:

• Why is a good first impression important?
• Who will be successful at making a good first impression?

• Look at the topic sentence of every paragraph
