Vivo has a history of innovating smartphone technologies before other manufacturers. This included creating the world's thinnest smartphone in 2014 at 4.75mm thick, developing an in-display fingerprint sensor in 2018 when others were moving sensors to the back of phones, and introducing a pop-up selfie camera to eliminate notches on the display. More recently, Vivo developed a gimbal camera system to provide clearer images during shaking and a color-changing rear glass that shifts hues when exposed to sunlight. Vivo's innovations often inspire other companies and push the boundaries of smartphone design and features.

Prince Nagar Siddhi Verma Presented to: Ms. Dipti Singh Riddhi Verma Jitendra Pareek INNOVATION THAT TOOK PLACE IN VIVO MINDS INSPIRE OTHERS TO GET INDULGE IN CREATING NEW DEFINITIONS TO THE PRODUCT. World’s Thinnest smartphone: ◦ When it comes to smartphones, thin is in. Back in 2014, while all smartphone manufacturers were still trying to create slim smartphones, Vivo took the lead with the Vivo X5Max. The phone sported a reasonably large, 5.5 -inch FHD Super AMOLED display and looked even more impressive when viewed from the side due to it being only 4.75mm thick making it the World’s Thinnest Smartphone. In– Display Fingerprint : ◦ As people started to get more concerned about real estate in terms of display size, bezels kept getting thinner and thinner. Soon, there just wasn’t enough room to accommodate a fingerprint sensor on the front of the device. In 2018, while many manufacturers chose to move the sensor to the back, Vivo moved it under the display. This feature was no easy task as this meant that the sensor would have to read the fingerprint accurately from behind the display. POP-UP Camera : 1.As we all are well aware that humans get bored by repeating same things on daily basis. 2. To rectify this problem we have to create a change either it is in our lifestyle or in gadgets that makes our lives easier. 3.When most of the manufacturers were choosing notch for the camera inside screen ,VIVO minds were seeking for an innovation. 4. This innovative approach resulted in a camera that remains hidden when not in use and simply pops up when called upon. This meant that users were able to enjoy content on their screens in an even more immersive way, without a notch blocking any part of the display. Gimbal Camera (Chameleon eye): ◦ A feature we haven't seen on a phone before. It's called the Gimbal Camera System, and it's a tiny gimbal module (modeled after actual gimbals, Vivo says) that moves the camera in the opposite direction of shaking motions, providing clearer handheld shots. Vivo says the system widens the rotation angle, as well as the anti-shake area, compared to other stabilization methods. That means it should be able to compensate for some very jerky movements. The results, the company claims, should be "super clear images." Sound Casting : ◦ A pop-up camera wasn’t the only cutting- edge tech that Vivo debuted with the Nex smartphone. The device also offered Sound Casting technology. Instead of using the traditional ear-piece to offer sound, the entire display of the phone was turned into a speaker. It vibrated the screen itself in order to produce sound. While this tech is being used by some Television manufacturers, Vivo managed to shrink and adapt it to be used inside a smartphone. World’s First color changing smartphone :- ◦ The latest addition to their list of innovations is a smartphone rear glass that changes color, unlike other phones (Samsung Galaxy Note 10, OnePlus 8 and others) where you have to change the angle to experience the color change. ◦ The most unusual feature is the Sunshine Gold model’s ‘color-changing’ exterior that apparently shifts colors completely when exposed to sunlight. Vivo says the material took two years to research and develop; if you leave it in the sun for about thirty seconds, the phone will turn to blue- green before gradually returning back to the original gold. Conclusion :- ◦ Where vivo leads, other manufacturers follow. ◦ The Vivo brand believes in adopting creative and innovative technology to produce new products . ◦ Last but not the least VIVO inspires us for continuous evolution of our thoughts and become a better version of yourself.
