The teacher used Bloom’s Taxonomy in writing the learning objectives.
Instructional Activities
Development
After watching the instructional video/students identify the idea that they’ve learned. The teacher
used graphic organizer to assess the student understanding after they watched the video.
According to Stenson (2006) he states that graphic organizers helped the students remember
relationships and events. The students were able to use the graphic organizers to picture the
information and remember relationships, they improved their comprehension on what they read
Assessment
Assimilation
In order for the teacher to identify if the student learned the specific lesson, she used the Question and
Answer technique where in the teacher provided such question and the student answer based on what they’ve
learned during the discussion. The teacher provides an illustration for the student to have a clue /hint for the
said activity.
According to the study of University of Illinois Questioning should be used to achieve well-defined goals. An
instructor should ask questions that will require students to use the thinking skills that he or she is trying to
develop. Bloom's Taxonomy is a hierarchical system for ordering thinking skills from lower to higher, where
each level requires a student's mastery of the skills below. An important aspect of classroom interaction is the
manner in which the instructor handles student responses. When an instructor asks a question, students can
either respond, ask a question, or give no response.
Learning Objectives
The teacher prepared an activity where in the student analyze and construct
an idea that is related to the topic.
This kind of activity will fall under the progressivism that the student create
knowledge from themselves base on their everyday experiences. Again the
progressivism is a philosophy of learning that is learner-centered
