RATIONALE
Project PAGbASA (May Pag-asa sa Pagbasa) provides
platform to synergize efforts and resources to address
current education related challenges. It also creates
opportunities to stakeholders to contribute possible
solutions to the current gaps in the country’s educational
system. Now, the challenge of the school is to
accommodate the learners who don’t have access to
internet, gadgets and television in their own houses but
are interested. Therefore, project pagbasa introduces
Pagbasa sa baranggay which provides learning delivery
through face-to-face modalities distance learning.

OBJECTIVES
Pagbasa sa Baranggay provides learners with
access to quality basic education through a home-
based environment facilitated by a qualified
parents and teachers in the department acting as
para-teachers adapt a learner and ready-to-use
self learning modules printed or digital electronic
copy with the support of baranggay council,
parents and other stakeholders.
