EXISTING SYSTEM

• THE EXISTING SYSTEM IS BASED ON MANUAL ONSITE

VERIFICATION.

• THE PROTECTIVE DEVICES SUCH AS CB, RELAY AND FUSES ARE

RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING TRANSMISSION LINES.

• THE MAN EFFORT IS NEEDED FOR VERIFYING LINE

PARAMETERS.

• THE TIME TAKEN FOR THIS SYSTEM IS COMPARATIVELY LARGE.

LITERATURE SURVEY

According to base paper, the project design for

monitoring leakage current in high voltage electrical
substation is proposed based on wireless technology. This
paper has demonstrated the feasibility of a novel wireless
condition monitoring system for application in high voltage
electrical substations. The system can be used as a standalone
device or part of a multi sensor network to measure leakage
current and voltage in a variety of equipment. But one
drawback, this project is based on manual onsite verification.
So we can’t trip the fault automatically.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

• THE PROPOSED SYSTEM IS INDIVIDUALLY MONITOR THE

VOLTAGE, CURRENT AND TEMPERATURE.

• THE PROPOSED SYSTEM IS FULLY UTILIZING THE

EMBEDDED SYSTEM AS WELL AS WIRELESS
COMMUNICATION PROTOCAL TO SAFEGUARD THE WHOLE
POWER SYSTEM FROM THE SERIOUS ACCIDENTS.

• THE SYSTEM IS TRIPPING THE FAULT AUTOMATICALLY BY

MEANS OF IOT INTERFACE.

ALGORITHM

• Step 1: Start
• Step 2: Initialize the LCD, V, C, T, CB and BUZ
• STEP 3: Set the pin mode. V=A0 (input), C=A1 (input), T=A2 (input), CB=10
(output), BUZ=11 (output).
• Step 4: Clear LCD.
• Step 5: Monitoring Voltage, Current, Temperature.
• Step 6: Read analog.
• Step 7: Check the condition V<180. if this condition is satisfied go to step
8. otherwise go to step 9.
• Step 8: Print “Voltage Low” digital write CB Low and digital write BUZ
High.
• Step 9: Check the condition V>250. if this condition is satisfied go to step
10. otherwise go to step 11.
• Step 10: Print “Voltage High” digital write CB Low and digital write BUZ
High.
• Step 12: Print “Current High” digital write CB Low and digital write
BUZ High.
• Step 13: Check the condition T>40. if this condition is satisfied go to
step 14.
• Step 14: Print “Temp High” digital write CB Low and digital write
BUZ High.
• Step 15: If any condition is not satisfied go to step 16.
• Step 16: Print “OK” digital write CB High and digital write BUZ Low.
• Step 17: Print the results are Voltage, Current, Temperature and
Status.
• Step 18: Stop
