 The institute has separate Hostels for Boys & Girls,
providing all modern amenities such as DG
Sets,Telivision,Indoor Games etc. Sufficient numbers of
residences including guesthouse are also available in the
campus. The hostel is allocated in format of 3 persons
per room to students
 SPORTS
 Considering other activities as an integral part of the curriculum, Govt.
Engineering College emphasizes value of active sports for the students to
groom their personalities well. Being sports persons, students develop new
skills, learn to take up challenges, expand their competitive domains,
become goal oriented , promote team spirit, engage in lasting friendships,
acquire physical fitness and overall emerge as better persons. With so many
positive aspects in mind, sports are introduced as essential events at Govt.
Engineering College. The well laid out spacious play ground for numerous
athletic performances, whether indoor or outdoor, is an arena for exuberant
and euphoric sports activities.Moreover, the Annual Sports Meet, a zestful
event at the college campus exhibits rich valour combined with perfection,
co-ordination and skilled performances.
 ABOUT THE COLLEGE
 Government Engineering College at Nilokheri has been established by
Government of Haryana in year 2016 after taking approval from AICTE on
30.4.2016. The first academic session has been start from 16th August, 2016.
The institute is situated in Nilokheri Tehsil of KarnalDistrict and is well
connected by road and rail. It is 143 Kms from National Capital New Delhi and
107 Kms from state capital Chandigarh. It is also well connected to many nearby
states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh
and Utrakhand. The institute has been established with an aim to deliver quality
technical education to the deserving candidates. It also aims at development of
overall personality of Engineers who would be competent to work in the MNCs
at National & International level and can emerge as leaders in a range of
professions.
 CLASSROOMS

 Computer science education helps all students build the skills they’ll
need for the future, include coding,problem solving,creativity,and
teamwork. The department of computer engg. Offers four years
degree program in computer engg. Department has fully equipped
computer labs with latest computer syatems, laser printers,coloured
printers, internet facility etc.
 LIBRARY
 The importance of college libraries is well-known. They play a vital role in
education and learning. They promote self – study and reading habits cannot be
achieved. They help the without libraries educational aims students to learn and
gather information independently. It generates self-confidence and self-
reliance.
 Our college library is very rich. It is housed in a big hall. There is a number.
They are full of books on all subjects of big wooden and steel almirahs tools.
There are dictionaries, encyclopedias, maps, and another reference They are
well cataloged and alphabetically arranged. They are kept nicely and in good
condition. There is a librarian, one assistant librarian and two helpers. They are
always busy in their work. Then there are newspapers, magazines and
periodicals.
 LABS
 A laboratory is a building or a room where scientific experiments,
analyses, and research are carried out. 2. countable noun. A laboratory in a
school, college, or university is a room containing scientific equipment
where students are taught science subjects such as chemistry.
 The Department of Computer Engineering offers four years degree program
in Computer Engineering. Department has fully equipped computer labs
with latest computer systems, laser printers, coloured printers, internet
facility etc. The Department has the facility of Multimedia systems and
Internet Lab
 CONFRENCE HALLS
 Aregular venue for confreences, workshops and seminars, this
audtorium has all the facilities to enhance the learning process and is
a vast space that serves the varied requirements of quality education.
The objective behind the auditorim is to enhance the quality of
education.
Overall the facilities of
our college is very good.
