The purpose of the maze game and sway
• Purpose of the maze game • Purpose of the sway
The purpose of the maze game is The purpose of the sway is to
to have fun and make it enjoyable show the game off and show the
for everyone to play. And to features and controls of the game
entertain and challenge people on along with the assets and the
the game to test there skills to see sound effects and how to play the
if they can complete it with levels game with a walk through.
getting harder and harder as the
game goes on.
The audience of the game and sway
• The audience is 8 – 12 year olds so there wont be any blood or gore in
the game so the game has to be age appropriate. And the game
would have to make it easier on the kids so that if they do win and
not die over and over to the same thing so if it is completable they
would want to play more of the game and then fully complete it.
• The audience of the sway aswell would be 8 – 12 so the target
audience can go onto the website and see how the game was made
with a game walk through and all the sounds images and other stuff
for the game which people might find interesting to look at after
playing the game or looking to try the game.

Alternative Ideas
• You need to explain other possible ideas for the game and sway.
• It is important to explain the reason for choosing one idea over the
other.
• You must say why you rejected particular ideas.
• Alternative ideas could include, different players, different enemies,
different music, different backgrounds, more/less levels,  etc
Alternative ideas for my game and sway
• My other ideas I had for my game was to survive rounds of enemies to get the gem at the end to get to the next level with
random guns dropping into the map to collect and use. You can also collect some coins that the enemies drop as you shoot
them. These waves of enemies would of lasted at least 5 rounds and would get to more rounds on each level. There
would’ve been 5 levels getting harder and harder as you progress throughout the levels. There would’ve been different
enemies as well to match the theme of the level like a haunted mansion level with ghosts in it. There would’ve also been
npcs to sell you stuff in between waves of enemies so you would be able to have a break and a random npc would appear
and you would be able to trade coins from killing enemies to buy health, Armor or better weapons. My other ideas for the
sway as well was to have more pages with different transitions for when you go between pages of information and so you
can scroll through them.
Justify your plans
• Justify the plans by discussing how will they be fit for purpose and
audience
• Discuss the features that will be used to enhance user experience. E.g.
levels get harder as game progresses, shooting, scores, lives etc
Justifying my plans
My plans for my game and my sway I would say they are fit for the purpose they are for such as the maze game
having a hard level to navigate around with enemies everywhere making it challenging for the player but also
repayable. With interesting levels and ways to complete it. I also think that the sway is fit for the purpose of
telling the player or target audience about the game and how to play it and a preview of what it looks like. This
makes the player interested in the game more and wants to learn more about it and play it when they can get
it. I also think the features of the game such as coin collecting and shooting all the enemies hidden around
corners or out in the open and collecting the diamond at the end to complete the level is a good example of a
maze game and I think it will turn out well when I make it along with the sway showing the gane and how to
play it
