a topic, exchanging ideas to deliver opinion.

concepts and ideas that can be done by a group of
people
• Participating in the process of "debate" is better
than one-month repetition of a lesson.
• It is important since it can develop many skills and
knowledge
• It is a method of presentation especially suitable to
controversial themes
• It is creative and collaberative process
• It involves elicidating all related facts of a topic
• It involves participation of two groups
• One group is for the proposition and other group against
it
• Presence of moderator is a mandatory
• It is a social view of expressing our point of view on

Nature Rambling
• Rambling means 'aimlessly wandering'
• There is a vital need to orient students towards the
natural wonders available just outside
• It is important in all aspect since the young children
must know the sources from which they secure
their food
• It also helps to understand the natural forces upon
which the man depends for his needs
• It is a common sense method of learning and is
simple,direct and plain.
• There is a principle regarding learning which says
that
• " THOSE WHICH CAN BE BEST LEARNT INSIDE THE
CLASSROOM SHOULD BE LEARNT THERE.AND THAT
WHICH CAN BEST BE LEARNT OUTSIDE THE
CLASSROOM THROUGH DIRECT EXPERIENCE
DEALING WITH NATURE MATERIALS AND LIFE
SITUATIONS SHOULD BE LEARNT THERE"
• In this activity child is considered as a rambler in his
environment and the main criteria is the experience
of the child.
• It gives the learner first hand experience
• It leads to deeper insight into various natural
process and phenomena

• The advantages are :

• • One of the biggest advantages of nature ramblings
is that they allow students to have a real-world
experience. This experience should clearly illustrate
and enhance information taught by the curriculum.
For example, a textbook lesson on the life cycle of a
salmon can be enhanced by a trip to a local salmon
hatchery, where the students can clearly see the
salmon in its many life stages.
• New Learning Environment
• It also allow the students to learn outside of the
classroom. It is to supplement the curriculum and
offer the opportunity to teach the students
something new.
Disadvantages
• It requires planning
• Liability or sometimes legal issues
• Uneconomical sometimes
• Not applicable for all topics
• Does not gives a sound and systematic knowledge
of the subject to the child.
