SHORT FUNCTIONAL TEXT
Definition:
It is a kind of text in the short form but the text always
related and has many function into our daily lives

Sebuah text pendek yang memiliki hubungan dan fungsi
dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
Functional Text in 8 Grade are:
1. Short Message
2. Announcement
3. Notice/ Caution/ Warning
Short Message
Definition:
Short Message is a brief text message sent to convey
something to others that the person is doing or not
doing something.
Short message text is written piece information that
you send/leave to another person.
Function of Short Message
The Function of Short Message is to send an important
message to other people, friend, or family.  
Generic Structure of Short Message
The Generic Structure of Short Message is at least it consists
of three elements as below:
Receiver
To whom the message is sent for. Write down the name of
receiver if it is needed.
Content
The content of short message usually consists of intention of
message from the sender
Sender
The name or phone number of sender can be mentioned or not
is depended of its needed.

announcement text is a text that describes a
notification about an event that will be held, and is
more for the general audience does not like the text
that is specific Invitation

Purpose Of Announcement text ( Tujuan Text

The purpose is to inform the announcement text

information about an event, job vacancies, new
enrollment, new admissions, and so on.

memberitahukan informasi tentang sebuah acara,

penerimaan mahasiswa baru, dan sebagainya")

is a title that specifies that the announcement contains what, and usually
describes a general overview, Example English speech contest 
("adalah judul yang menentukan bahwa pengumuman tersebut berisikan tentang
apa, dan biasanya menggambarkan gambaran umum, Contoh lomba pidato
bahasa inggris".)

2. Explanation

is part of the text that contains the announcement of details of the event and is
usually associated, when the time such information will be held, where location
information will be done.
("adalah bagian dari teks pengumuman yang berisikan tentang detail acara
tersebut dan biasanya terkait, Kapan waktu informasi tersebut akan
dilaksanakan, Dimana Lokasi informasi tersebut akan dilakukan.")

NOTICE
Notice / caution is a form of functional Text used as
instruction or guidance to someone doing or not doing
something. ... 
Notice should be easily understood and easy to read, so
usually notice or notification always using simple
words, written in a simple, and large font.
The Purpose of Notice Text
There are many function or purpose of Notice text, they
are used:
To give an instruction / to instruct people to….
To give information / to inform people to….
To give direction
To ask people to….
To advice/to suggest / to recommend people to….
To remind people to….
To warn / to give warning
To ban / to forbid / to prohibit people to…
