RECAPITULATION: Points to remember
while writing emails
 Use simple vocabulary and sentences
 Write the important information in the beginning
 Be courteous
 Use correct grammar and spelling to avoid confusion
 No short forms

 End the e-mail with a thanks or with a line saying you look forward to hear from the receiver.

 You can write subject in two ways . Either entire subject phrase in capital letters or First
alphabet of each word in capital letter. For eg
MY BIRTHDAY PARTY OR My Birthday Party

 Q. You are Mohit . Your classmate Ronit is not keeping well since last few days . Write an email

The words like can, could, shall, should, will, would, may etc filled in the
above sentences are called Modals.
Modals are verbs used to express the mood or
attitude of the speaker.
They are helping verbs and are always used
with other verbs. Examples of Modal verbs
are:

to your friend informing him/her about your achievement.
