EMPTY FREEZER

PITCH - LOTTIE ARCHER – UAL UNIT 8

 • It’s a film which follows 17-year-old college student, Mayah.
• We see her struggle to cope with the fact that there was a seventh girl
found to be involved in a string of disappearances in the last few months.
We watch as her best friend Isla tries to console her, even though it only
ends in a fight between the two.
• Eventually the two girls make up and, in the commotion, confess that

WHAT IS ‘EMPTY their relationship may have moved past being just best friends. Mayah is
filled with joy and begins to reel in the new discovery.
FREEZER’? • On her way home from college Mayah is disturbed by a feeling as she
walks through the woods, she hears a noise and runs. She runs into her
house and catches her breath. She begins to talk her mum, who asks her
to run to the freezer to grab some dinner.
• Once she realizes there isn’t anything in the freezer, she tells her mum and
walks towards the door saying she would go and get some…
 • The next thing we see is someone walking through a dark basement. It’s
SO HOW DOES IT Mayah. She's talking to someone… it’s the girl who went missing. Mayah
END? explains how they're out of meat and that the missing girl is tonight’s
dinner.

This production was created following the rules set
out by the Norwich Film Festival, but I am also
looking to put it publicly on YouTube. There
aren’t any mature themes and scenes which would
prohibit me from putting it on any public
streaming services.
