" WHAT IS ROTARACT?!

"

"Rotaract" stands for "Rotary in Action", although the name

originally comes from a combination of "Rotary" and "Interact"
(International + Action), the high school level program created by
Rotary International in 1962. Rotaract focuses on the development
of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces.
Rotaract dedicated to six areas of focus :
1. Promoting peace
2. Fighting disease
3. Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene.
4. Saving mothers and children
5. Supporting education
6. Growing local economies.

It was established on 23/06/2012 E.C on the day of
Adwa victory with intention of serving the community
& developing our professions through creating our
strong friendship with rotaract theme of service
through friendship. Living and sacrificing oneself for
others, is what our forefathers taught us at Adwa.

Our members were officially inducted to the Rotary International community from
the night's honorary guest. The club's annual plan was presented. Also the
members spent a great friendly time together.
