1. KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXAMS
OFFICER/OFFICE

To over see and administer the whole exams process by


coordinating the conduct of examinations (Semester and
Reference) according to UNIMAKS standard operation
procedure.
Has the power to confiscate any unauthorized books, cell
phones or other materials brought into the examination hall.
To ensure that students are given all legitimate assistance and
support needed during examination period
To ensure the safe keeping, updating and maintaining
consistent student academic data system of the university.
2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENTS

 Students MUST remain silent in the Exams Hall until all


scripts have been collected and told to leave the Exams
venue
 Any disruptive or anti-social behavior at the beginning,
during and at the end of any exams will be taken and
reported to the registrar/Director of Academic Affairs for
disciplinary action.
 No exchange of exams materials in the exams Hall
3. PROHIBITED ITEMS
 Unauthorized material (including revision
notes) or equipment relevant to the exams
 Coats and Bags
 Electronic device capable of storing
information such as Mobile phone, MP3
players, cameras.
 Avoid bringing valuable items to
examination all.
4. EXAMINATION CONDUCT
• Arrive 20 Minutes before your exams.
• Raise your hand if you have a question
or need clarification.
• Raise your hand if you want to leave the
hall in the case of illness.

 A reference will be denoted with F/A after

next is to repeat it.

whole Academic year.
