1. To determine who will be entitled among the employees to


use or be issued with company laptop;

2. To set up an amount per job level;

3. To determine the laptop specifications or requirements;


and

4. To apprise the Executive Management of the risks in


bringing home the laptops.

Nature of work of employees entitled to use laptop: 3 of358

1. For continuity of operations or as part of the business continuity plan
(BCP), these employees can work from home (WFH);

2. Purpose and acceptable use- A portable equipment where the employee


can create, retrieve, share or present reports during meetings or in the
performance of his/her tasks.

3. For Audit and Compliance Departments – to efficiently perform their


tasks particularly during branch or department onsite reviews.

Minimum requirements

1. Laptops to be purchased should all be Window based

2. At least 8GB RAM and Corei3

3. SSD 500GB Hard disk

Note: Specifications may be increased depending on the applications or software


needed by the employee in the performance of his/her task. Deviation from the
amount shall be approved as per POAA.

Depreciation and disposal: 7 of758

1. Depreciation - Laptops shall be depreciated for three (3) years


2. Disposal – All laptops for five (5) years and above shall be disposed via sale.

The officer shall prepare the FFETF and submit to the ITG Head together
2.1. with the five (5) year old laptop for ITG to reformat of the Harddisk.

Once reformatting is done by the ITG, the laptop and FFETF shall be
2.2. turned-over to GSD.
The General Services Department (GSD) shall be in-charge on the disposal
2.3. of the laptops.

  RISKS
The laptops used by employees are vulnerable to theft,
1. loss, or damage;
Company files stored on the laptops may be shared,
2. leaked or breached;

1. Approval of the recommended officers and employees listed under slide
4 of 10 for 59 pax;

2. To protect the data stored on the laptops, personal care and security
(lock PIN, wiping of data in case of lost or stolen device, etc) shall be
observed on the company issued laptop;

3. In case of resignation, employee shall properly turn-over company


issued laptop; and

4. In case of loss of company issued laptop, the employee shall be liable to


the market value of the laptop.
