PRESENT TENSE VERBS
• -SIMPLE PRESENT VERBS
• Describe actions or states of being that exist now.
• I ,YOU,WE,THEY

• He/She speaks English.
• It rains a lot here.
ACTIVITY
• SIMPLE PAST
• The "simple past" is used to talk about an
action that ended.
• For example
• I saw a movie yesterday.
SIMPLE FUTURE
• To predict a future event.
• STRUCTURE
• Subject + Will + Verb + Object.
• Example:
• It will rain tomorrow.
PRESENT CONTINUOS.
• Isused to express an action in progress,
or unfinished.
• The present progressive (composed of the
verb be and the gerund that is formed by
adding -ing to the end of the verb:
• FOR EXAMPLE:
• The children are sleeping right now.
PAST CONTINUOS
• Verbs are formed by combining
was(I,HE,SHE,IT)or were(YOU,WE,THEY) and the
present participle .
• They reference actions or states of being that
were in progresive in the past.
• For example:
• I was studying last night.
FUTURE CONTINUOS VERBS

date. It follows a general formula of
