INTRODUCTION TO SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

What Is The Simple Present Tense

Simple Present Tense is a form of tense used to describe


something that is happening now (present) at a specific
time. This form is usually used to show facts, habits, and
events that are happening at this time. the first verb
(verb 1) in the sentence order.
General Formula Simple Present Tense

Subject + V1 (s,es) + O

+ - Subject + verb 1 (+ s/es) + object


- Subject + to be (am/is/are) + adjective / adverb

add -ES.
