Task
In a study conducted by Lado (1978), 15 students
were asked to translate 150 words, while 15 other
students were asked to translate them within one day.
As a result, students who translate without a period
of time experience many errors.

The elicitation task refers to the spoken and written


texts obtained from the L2, this elicitation task
changes the proportion of errors between languages,
especially in translation.
