ERASE LAMPS

• ERASE LAMPS contain small amounts of mercury.


If a LAMP breaks:
 Ventilate the area
 Use a mercury vacuum cleaner
 Store the waste in a closed container

PMTs to a voltage (0-5 V DC)

Software Download CR 800 System

•Procedure:
 The service specialist will typically receive a Modification
Procedure and an Update CD (with the new Software files).
And follow all loading instructions from the Modification
Instructions (this copies all the System Software from the
Upgrade CD to the Hard Drive of the PC.
 From the CR800 Main Menu:
Select: Service > Diagnostics > Download Software
 When updating the entire System Software to the CR800
Circuit Boards you need to follow a sequence:
 1) MCPU Board (downloads 1 file)
 2) MSC Board (downloads 1 file)
 3) Slow Scan Controller Board (downloads 3 files)

Restoring Parameters CR 800 System
User Interface
•Procedure:
 When you need to replace a Hard Drive or an entire PC,
you will have to restore all the site specific Parameters
and Configurations to the new Hard Drive/PC.
 You must locate the 2 diskettes you created during your
install visit. If any Upgrade options were installed, you will
need those diskettes. If an Application Consultant has
visited the site, you will need to locate the diskette they
generated during their visit.
 Once you power up the new Hard Drive/PC, you will have
a generic CR800 which is not setup with any IP
Addressing, HIS/RIS Configuration, General Parameters,
Print/Store Destinations and/or the Image Processing
Library (ipl.dat) changes.
