• The Grade 7 in Barcelona National Comprehensive High
School comprises 292 learners divided in 7 sections. The
first section-Jupiter, composes of 21 male and 26 female,
in total of 47; the second section- Earth with 23 male
and 17 female in total of 40; Mars with 23 male and 17
female in total of 40; Mercury with 24 female and 16
male in total of 40; Saturn with 21 male and 20 female
in total of 41; Uranus with 20 male and 22 female in

• In the study of determining the effects of Distant learning Modality to the social skills of the Grade 7 stu-
dents of BNCHS, set of all students of BNCHS who are enrolled at grade 7 will be considered as the
population, irrespective of their medium of instruction, mode of distant learning, age range and gender.
• Socialization skills are the variables of the study and the officially enrolled students of grade 7 of BNCHS that
are now participating face-to-face classes after two years of having Distant learning Modality are the
population of the study .
• The researchers will use these numbers to determine the effects of distant learning modality to the social skills
of the Grade 7 students and to draw conclusion and identify the mitigating factors that will address the issues
concerning the social skills of these students.
