Manuals refers specifically to a reference document which provides detailed
information about operation and maintenance of a product.

Tips
An essay that contains a description of the
procedure or operational steps in doing or making
something.
 Purpose

• To show how something is done through

sequence of steps which enable the reader
to achieve the goal
• To tell the reader how to do something
through a sequence of actions or steps
 Generic structure

• Goal title (Goal is title of the text)

• Materials (material is the tool or anything
which needed in the process in the steps)
• Steps (step is way, methods or what should
do)
