Technology
Background

•Every day,  more  than  22  million farmers and agricultural workers in
country must face an enormous  responsibility and challenge to produce
enough quantities of high-quality and safe food for people of country.

•Fertilizers, pesticides, and other agrochemicals play an important role in

enhancing crop productivity. Fertilizers are products rich in plant nutrients
that are applied to soil or plant tissues in order to sustain and stimulate plant
growth.
Problem Statement

• The high consumption of fertilizers is not offset by its efficiency,

conventional fertilizers have low nutrients use efficiency (NUE), the ability
of plants to obtain nutrients, transport them in roots, and move other
parts of plants.
• The low nutrients use efficiency is caused by the high release of fertilizers
rather than the absorption rate by plants
Solution of the Problem

• Solution to increase crop productivity is to use slow-controlled release

fertilizers.
• This technology can improve the nutrient use efficiency (NUE) and reduce
the negative impact on the environment due to chemical fertilization and
by inadequate disposal or reuse of agricultural waste.
• Controlled delivery systems have been studied to maximize efficiency and
reduce the necessary quantity of fertilizers and pesticides, therefore,
increasing its safety and efficiency while guaranteeing a most effective way
to preserve soil fertility, improve agriculture production and food safety.
Hypothesis
Objectives

• Controlled Release of Crop Protection Products

• Improving productivity
• Reduced Environmental Impact
• Increased Stability for Biopesticides
• Vector disease control
• Quality of food
Deliverables

• Reduce toxicity, which induces osmotic stress and causes damage

at different growth stage.
• Save labour, time and energy.
• Predictions of controlled release increase the uptake of nutrients
by plants and significantly reduce the loss of nutrients.
Methodology

• Clay Purification
• Clay Organofilization
• Preparation of Nano composite Dispersions
• Preparation of Microcapsules
