PROJECT'S CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS (MUST BE MEASURABLE)

1) Crop Production Analysis in India :
 Our study of crop production in India from 1961 to 2019 will involve comprehensive examination
of soil nutrients, rainfall, humidity, temperature, pH value, and season that can influence
agriculture, which is crucial to the success of the project.
 By understanding soil health, seasonal conditions and regional variations in India, we will develop
correct strategies to maximize crop yield and promote sustainable farming practices.
 We aim to efficiently utilize cultivated/harvested areas in order to maximize the crop production.
2) Crop Suitability and Nutritional Recommendation :
 The project's success depends on improving the accuracy in recommending better suited crops in
India, by considering nutrients in soil, temperature, humidity and pH.
 Crop's water requirement is critically dependent on humidity because saturated air inhibits soil
evaporation and crop transpiration. Humidity range of 40-60% for most of the crops becomes
essential for accurate agriculture recommendations.
 In India, the range of temperature for growth of most of the agricultural crops is between 15-40ºC
and average temperature ranges 24 degree. Additionally, the impact of traditional farming practices
on pH levels, emphasizes the significance of these factors in soil nutrition.
 By including temperature, humidity and pH values, our project will be able to cutomize crop
suitability recommendation in various regions of India.
3) Resource Efficiency Enhancement :
 By analyzing and reducing the use of fertilizers and pesticides while increasing crop productivity
in Indian agriculture is the key to project's success.
 Our dataset incorporates various factors which are responsible for enhanced resource efficiency in
agriculture.
 Different seasons of the year help to recommend what crops to plant, changing types of crops
planted over time and providing suggestions based on the area particular conditions.
 Our project aims to help Indian farmers use the appropriate amount of fertilizer the soil acutally
requires instead of traditional methods. This will significantly reduce the usage of fertilizers and
make farming more sustainable, will reduce harm to environment.
 Using a crop recommendation system based on fertilisers, pesticides, average rainfall, irrigation
facilities, and associated costs, as well as the yields of various crops, we can assist farmers in
making the most profit possible.
4) Quality Assurance for Deliverables:
 In our project, major emphasis is on aacurate crop recommendations.
 As part of our recommendations, we analyze optimal humidity and temperature ranges for different
crops, promoting growth conditions. In addition, we evaluate our deliverables in order to
understand how rainfall patterns affect crop growth, enabling farmers to adapt their practices
accordingly.
 There are two types of categories in the environmental factors which can affect growth of crops,
namely : abiotic which affects growth and productivity of crops. It includes characteristics of soil,
its pH value, the type of nutrients present in the soil, climatic changes such as rainfall, temperature
and humidity. Whereas, biotic includes features such as disease which harm the plants, as a result
of which overall yield is affected. Our project focuses on Abiotic features that is analyzing soil, its
nutritional value and seasonal trend to increase crop production in India.
 While our primary focus is on abiotic factors, we also make sure our information about crop

 Our project includes data analytics technologies to thoroughly analyze crop suitability, which will
take into consideration important features such as pesticides, pH value, humidity and rainfall,
providing a comprehensive understanding of the most suitable crops for specific conditions in
varios regions of India. Our goal is to provide accurate recommendations specific to particular
characteristics of farm.
4) Geographical Insights – Crop Performance Analysis in India :
 The scope of our project involves comprehensive analysis of how crops perform in various seasons
and soil types across the regions of India. By analyzing crop performances in various geographical
conditions, we aim to ensure that our solutions are applicable and efficient for farmers across the
country by customizing them to particular soil characteristics.
5) Accurate Crop Yield Predictions :
 Within our project, we plan to use advanced machine learning algorithms to analyse and forecast
how various elements impact crop productivity(yield). This includes using latest methods to create
develop recognition model that will be able to understand complex data and thereby provide
accurate prediction. Our aim is to improve insights of complex relationships between various
factours and their influence on crop harvest.
6) Comprehensive Analysis of Environmental Factors :
 The objective of our project is to examine relationship between crop productivity and various
environmental factors such as season and soil characteristics. We will be doing thorough analysis to
identify how various environmental factors affect the productions of crops. With the help of this
information, we will be able to share knowledge with farmers that will help them make sustainable
farming decisions.
7) Efficient Project Management Practices :
 We will implement project management strategies to manage our project by setting clear goals,
timelines for each phase, and plan outcomes of tasks. This will ensure that our project stays on
track, tasks are completed within set timeframes, and the overall development proceeds efficiently.
