Course Description
This course aims to acquaint the students
with the different works of Filipino authors
writing in English in the different literary
forms such as poetry, drama, short story,
novel and essay. Students are expected to
gain insights from their readings that will
make them more tolerant and understanding
of culture and regional differences in the
Philippines.

ABSENCE AND EXCUSE LETTER
• Late enrollees are considered absent unless proof for validity of
absence is presented.

• Only those with excused absence are allowed to take a missed


activities.
• Excuse letters should be submitted within the week from the date of absence.
• Include in the excuse letter the date(s) and reason(s) for the absence.
Attachments are required for validity of claims.
• During the NCOV-19 outbreak, any excuse letter should be sent as BBL course
message.
