Activity 4: MUSIC ART
Materials: A Playlist, Bond Papers & Crayons
MECHANICS (MUSIC ART)
A. Provide the needed materials to the participants.
B. Write the name on any part of the bond paper.
C. Facilitator will play a variety of songs.
D. The participants are to choose their 2 favorite colors.
E. For each song, the participants are to respond by drawing
what they feel on the bond papers given to them using the left
and right hand respectively, with different colors on each
hand.
F. When each song stops, participants will change colors
G. After the activity, conduct a short gallery walk and group
sharing.

Calming Down and Controlling One’s
Emotions
• Now we know that:
 There are several things we do to calm
down ourselves.

One of the most effective means of


making ourselves feel better is through
breathing and stretching exercise.

• -Action –Reaction
• Mechanics:
• a. Each Group will look for any Filipino action word (no duplication)
• b. The first group will mention the name of their group first 3 times before
mentioning the other group’s name (Action word) 3 times also.
• c. the group that can not mention the goup’s name correctly will be eliminated.
• d. repeat procedure until there is only one group left.
•  
• Explain to our students that…..Our feelings and reactions to

manila paper)
•-each learners will make their hugot lines written on the small
heart shaped colored paper and paste it inside the big heart.

• Mechanics:
• -Group will form a circle in one direction.
• - tap gently the upper back portion of the student after you… then
count 1- 10
• -do this on the separate way, facing back.
• - repeat procedure but this time count 1-9 only do the same with the
opposite side.
• Then repeat until the count of 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
• the group who will finish the activity first will be proclaimed winner.
• The teacher will explain the Connecting to
other people with loved ones and social
support will make our stength more stronger
• Explain to the learners that we can not live
alone especially in terms of crisis... and vice
versa we can also Help people cope with
problems.
Activity 14
T- Shirt Art Story :
• The teacher tells a story while cutting a piece of paper in order to make a t-shirt .
• Let the students draw a t-shirt:
• Left Shoulder – 3 traits / characteristics/qualities
• Right shoulder- favorite things/ activities
• Upper Front- Name/nick name
• Center front – 3 things you value most
• Lower front – wish / dreams/ aspirations in life
* make your t-shirt in your own creative way… Present infront of the class
