Jigsaw Teaching Method in

Addressing Difficulty on
Anatomy and Physiology
Statement of the Problem
This study will examine the jigsaw teaching method in
addressing difficulty on anatomy and physiology.
Specifically, this study aims to answer the following
questions:
1. What is the level of students’ scores in pre-test and
post-test on anatomy and physiology?
2. Is there a significant difference between the mean
scores of students who did Jigsaw as a teaching method
and pure lecture as teaching method?
3. Based on the findings of the study, what
recommendations can be put in place to improve student’s
learning of hypothesis?
Hypothesis
The null hypothesis will be tested at the 0.05
level of significance.

Ho1: There is failed to accept between the

students’ pre-test and post-test in anatomy
and physiology and the use of the jigsaw
teaching method
Result
• The research shown that student students

• The experimental non-controlled group which was treated

with Jigsaw method garnered a higher mean score on the post
-test compared to their pre-test. The computed mean of the
pre-test (7) indicates a difference from the generated mean of
the post-test (7.96).
• The research conducted suggesting utilizing jigsaw method in
lectures and training for Science instructors on how to
facilitate classroom.
