TEACHER AND LEARNER
ROLES
In Community Language Learning, learners become
members of a community. The learners and the teacher are
learning through interacting with members of the
community. Learning is not viewed as an individual
accomplishment but as something that is achieved
collaboratively. Learners are expected to listen attentively to
the teacher, to freely provide meanings they wish to
express, and to repeat target utterances without hesitation.

ADVANTAGES AND DISAVANTAGES
Advantages of CLL: Works well with lower-level
students who are struggling in spoken English, lower
students' anxiety and overcome threatening affective filter, it
create a warm sympathetic and trusting relationship
between teacher and learners, train students become
independent, counselor allow to learners to determine types
of conversation.
