Part 1

The rise of just-in-time (JIT) concept came from Toyota in Japan in the early 1970s.

JIT can provide the following advantages for the company and the project:

I.Reduced inventory

II.Improved quality

III.Lower costs

IV.Reduced space requirements

V.Increased productivity HAVE A NICE

Part 2
When building JIT, Establish a JIT management system
according to the following process:

A.Develop a corporate mobilization policy and strategy

B.Through BIM planning required material dimensions

C.Evaluate construction output and quantity, design plan

and establish plan

D.Pre-order with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery

E.Minimize waiting risk and implement zero inventory

management through JIT

F.Adjusting JIT measures based on performance

Lean production adheres to people-oriented and attaches importance to human power. Employees can better
put into action only after they have a good ideological understanding and establish the concept of lean
production.

To ensure lean construction, the concept of JIT can be implemented

1)Create a stable work schedule.

2)Establish a stable supplier-customer relationship.
3)Predictive, frequent small or on-demand purchases
4)Encourage and ensure employee discipline.
5)Identify value-added and non-value-added items in construction activities.
6) Ensure top management commitment to effectiveness and successful implementation.

JIT has certain limitations, mainly reflected in:

1. The JIT is ineffective at responding to sudden changes in demand and supply.

2. Risks need to be considered for each set of parts or suppliers.
3. Vendor reliability affects JIT
4. The difference between construction and manufacturing
5. Influenced by management
Solution:
1. We encourage all project participants to participate in lean construction
2. Strengthen the relationship between project stakeholders
3. The general contractor needs to rely on stable subcontractors to ensure JIT
4. Use JIT to reduce the proportion of inventory and warehouse management in project expenditure
costs
5. Arrange procurement according to the logic of MRP to reduce the cost of excess raw materials
6. Obtain information with the help of technology, such as predicting arrival time through GPS, to
ensure JIT
7. Work plans need to develop enterprise-wide initiatives, encourage employee participation, and
develop mobilizable policies and strategies HAVE A NICE

Kanban means "visual card" in Japanese. It is often used as the material flow
technology of the pull replenishment logic system.

Kanban can provide the following advantages for the company and the project:

I.Better visibility

II.Improved efficiency

III.Increased productivity

IV.Preventing team overburden

V.Reduced waste

When building Kanban, convert it to workflow management
system according to the following steps:

A.Visualize your workflow on Kanban

B.Discover workflow bottlenecks on Kanban

C.Use Kanban to limit ongoing work and priorities

D.Save time with Kanban dashboard

E.Visualize work blockers on Kanban

F.Automate workflow on agile Kanban

G.Collect key workflow metrics and improve

Lean means developing value streams to eliminate all waste, including time, and achieve horizontal planning.
Waste is defined as any activity that does not add value but becomes integral to production.
In order to make the Kanban system run smoothly in the project, the following points should be achieved:

1) Respect employees' suggestions; 2) Understand the needs of employees;

3) Work together on difficult issues; 4) Rewards and punishments represent achievements;

5) Listen to employees' opinions; 6) Analyze employee proposals;

7) Reward key employees; 8) Praise employees' wisdom

Part 5
Kanban management has certain limitations, which are mainly reflected in:

(1) Kanban takes the holding of benchmark inventory as the premise, and does not intend to achieve
zero inventory from the beginning.
(2) If there are too many mixed flow varieties on the production line, the Kanban method is easy to lead
to a large amount of inventory on site, and the production method has no advantage. In this case,
Kanban production has no advantages.
(3) Everyone focuses on one point and ignores the others.
(4) Products or parts must be reusable
For reusable products or parts, Kanban is a post complementary pull production. Kanban cannot be
used for non-standard parts or customized products
(5)Kanban cards are easily worn, lost or damaged
In practice, it is often seen that the Kanban card is worn, and the design size of the Kanban card must
also avoid loss and damage
(6)Kanban is difficult to adapt to the multi production strategy environment, especially the multi variety,
small batch, design by order, project manufacturing and other modes.
