E-SUMMIT
E-Summit IIT Roorkee brings a unique platform to celebrate the history and spirit of
entrepreneurship and to inspire the leaders and problem solvers of today and tomorrow.
This two day extravaganza will be a congregation of students, corporates, entrepreneurs
and budding enthusiasts on common stage. E- Summit IIT Roorkee, an annual event
witnessing more than 2,000 footfall and hosting over 30 events, exposes the best minds
of the country to pervasive networking, exhilarating experiences and also to be a cradle
for forthcoming ventures.
  

An investor, as cool as it may sound is always on the knife’s edge; a

bad decision and it would rip him off. So let’s get into his shoes and
see how tough it may get just to make a choice.
 STRUCTURE

Each team participates in a team of 3. Ideas  are presented to the teams one by one
with points allotted to each of the idea. Each of the team will be given some
amount of money which they have to invest in the ideas. The ideas will be
presented on the screen in front of you. For asset allocation to each idea, you will
be given 5 minutes. Once allotted money, cannot be changed. After you have spent
money on a particular idea, you can’t use that money again. So spend wisely. :)
RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.One can participate in a team of 3.

2.Each team will be given equal time and resources.
3.Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
4.Exceeding the specified time limit might lead to negative marking.
5.Individual participants can apply. They will be helped to create a team before the
event.

1.Anyone who is interested in the event can register and participate.

2.You need to be present there to participate in the event.

IDEA 1

The company focuses mainly on creating new sustainable sources of energy which
can fulfil the future energy demands. It provides to people solar plates leasing with
no upfront amount and in return asks for the money collected from 20 years of the
energy use. The company focuses currently focuses on electric car charging
stations, solar roofs and and such other projects.
IDEA 2

The current idea of the startup looks forward to provide a collaborative platform
for teams working in a company. It is a cloud-based set of proprietary team
collaboration tools and services. It provides Share channels with companies and
businesses you regularly work with to bring all the right people into the same room
and also helps in sharing of files.
IDEA 3

The company is operates an online marketplace and hospitality service which is

accessible via its websites and mobile apps. Members can use the service to
arrange or offer lodging, primarily homestays, or tourism experiences. The
company does not own any of the real estate listings, nor does it host events; as a
broker, it receives commissions from every booking.
IDEA 4

It is a network centric B2B trade platform, designed specifically for small &
medium businesses in India. It brings traders, wholesalers, retailers and
manufacturers in India on to a single platform. With real insights into active trends,
and great B2B trade features, it brings to its users the power of technology to scale
& nurture their business.
IDEA 5

Mobile platform for tutors helping them to utilize time in teaching rather than
wasting in creating assignments, fee management etc. It provides different modes
for parent, student and teacher and helps in creating assignments and also analysing
performance reports so that they could analyze the growth of a student easily
IDEA 6

Cloud telephony and AI company. Provides solution for sales call handling
Acquired Smartward Services. Features include call greeting, call recording,
routing-rerouting, integration with CRM (customer relationship management)
systems, analytics, empirical data generation, and storage of data, as well as myriad
other features
IDEA 7

The company aims to provide easy transport methods to people ; mainly catering
the needs of the metro cities who either cannot afford vehicles or do not have
enough space for. Recently the firm acquired a food delivery company in order to
use it’s service in this area.
IDEA 8

The company aims to provide better and easy food solutions to people. It provides
information and reviews on restaurants, including images of menus where the
restaurant does not have its own website helping people choose from a wide range
of choices at one platform.
