Taking field emissions with the


Testo 350 XL Portable Emissions
Analyser
Taking Emissions Data
• Once turbine has stabilised insert probe.
• Take sample and allow readings to stabilise.
• Compare data to representative sample graphs.
• Initiate CO dilution if necessary.
• Print data.
• Save data to memory.
• Purge the analyser.
• If emissions okay move to next speed/load set
point. Allow turbine to stabilise and repeat.
• If emissions not okay tune engine and repeat.
• If testing is longer than 4 hours perform inter-test
cal verification and record data.
Post test

• Purge analyser unit.


• Remove sample probe from stack and allow
to cool.
• Empty condensate collector.
• Perform post test cal verification and record
results.
• Turn analyser off and gather FT53550
components.
