MEASURES.

We live in critical times nowadays. Countless people are infected by COVID-19

and millions of lives are being ravaged. The precautions that are implemented to us
by the government sure prove to be quite challenging and might even be disruptive
to some.

A quote from The late Coretta Scott King, "The greatness of a community is
most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members", we must
reflect from this quote to help our country heal. Let us be one and collaboratively
give our best efforts in eradicating this virus in our country and in the world.

The most common precautionary measure we

use to fight COVID-19 today is the use of face
masks.

Wearing a face mask may not keep you from

getting the COVID-19, but it can protect other
people around you. Masks are the most
effective when it is worn by everyone.

PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING

Sometimes, we can't help but be exposed to risky environments.

COVID-19 spreads through person-to-person

contact. We must minimize the risks by
reducing close contact with other people by
keeping our distance of at least 2 meters or 6
feet from others. If social distancing is
implemented by all of us, surely the virus 2 METERS
would be halted and we are headed for a better
life in the future.

WASH YOUR HANDS.

We use our hands to do almost anything in our

daily lives so it's just natural that it
accumulates dirt. COVID-19 is known to stay
into objects for some amount of time and we
might get infected just by touching objects. To
make sure we don't get infected by COVID-
19, we must wash our hands with soap and
running water 6 to 10 times a day.

STAY AT HOME.
Staying at home is also a form of social distancing, but it is
far more effective as you don't need to expose yourself
outside, therefore the risk of getting COVID-19 is
tremendously low. Though it can be challenging to some in
the way of the lack of social contact that might take a toll on
their mental health. To combat this, there is always the use of
technology to aid us in our loneliness. We can maintain our
connections with our loved ones by chatting or video chatting
them online.

Loneliness is the one thing that most of

us struggle with the most.

In order to combat this while staying at home, we must

keep ourselves busy, focus on our hobbies, and utilize
technology to maintain our social relationships.

There is no debate as to the effectiveness of the vaccine. It is
developed and recommended by professional scientists and
the government, so it is safe to say that it works and we
should be taking it. It's for our own safety as it boosts our
immune system against the virus and it minimizes the effects
of the virus if we ever happen to get infected.

We must be mindful that we are all in this
together. We must work together to keep
ourselves and other people safe in this
pandemic.
