1.SIMPLE PAST TENSE
Simple past tense is a sentence that is used to tell an event that
happened in the past and finished or ended in the past as well. So, the
past tense is used when you tell a story in the present about past
activities.

menceritakan suatu peristiwa yang terjadi di masa lalu dan selesai atau
berakhir di masa lalu juga. Jadi, bentuk lampau digunakan ketika Anda

2.PAST CONTINOUS TENSE
The past continuous comes from two words, namely past
which means past or has passed, and continuous which means
being.The past continuous tense is the medium form for the past, in
other words it is used to express the current state of things in the
past.

Past continuous berasal dari dua kata, yaitu past yang berarti
masa lalu atau telah berlalu, dan continuous yang berarti
keberadaan. Past continuous tense adalah bentuk medium untuk
masa lalu, dengan kata lain digunakan untuk menyatakan keadaan
sedang berlangsung di dalam masa lalu.

3. PAST PERFECT TENSE

The past perfect tense is a form of the verb used to express that
an action was completed at some point in the past before another
action occurred.

Past perfect tense adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan


untuk menyatakan bahwa suatu tindakan telah selesai di beberapa
titik di masa lalu sebelum tindakan lain terjadi.

Tenses is a method of grammar (grammar) in English which is based on the verb
(verb). Tenses are usually used to indicate the time or state of an action when a sentence is
spoken.

Simple past tense is used to express past events that have passed but are told at the
present time. It has various patterns and adverbs of time.

Past continuous tense is used to express events that occurred or occurred


simultaneously in the past. .Has a variety of patterns and adverbs of time.

Past perfect tense is a tense that expresses an event that has occurred in the past and
was completed in the past. It can also be used to express an event that happened in the past
before another event (in the past too) happened. Has a variety of patterns and adverbs of
time.
