Heat transfer
-is the transfer of energy from one object to
another, or from energy source to an object

Conduction Convection

Radiation
Light is very important to us
Light -is a form of electromagnetic radiation that are
emitted by the sun, and the only one that can be
perceived by the unaided eye.It is the energy that
allows us to see the world around us.
Reflection-is the bouncing of light as it
strikes a surface
As the light changes speed, it changes
direction resulting in what appears
to be bending of light. The bending of
light is called Refraction.

Refraction is the bending of light as

it travels from one type of materials
to another like from air to water.
Objects that allow almost all of the light to pass through them is called
Transparent materials
Some materials like tinted glass allow only some of the light to
pass through them, Thus you only see a blurred image of what is
on their other side. These materials are called translucent
materials.
There are also materials that do not allow any light to pass through
them. Thus, you cannot see what is on their side. Materials like these
are called opaque
