UNALA?

 The Association of Latin American Sugar


Producers, UNALA, born in 2017 and
represents the sugar agroindustry of 11
countries in the region.

 According our data, the Sugar Yearbook 2021


and the Ethanol Yearbook 2020, our members:

 Produce more than 30% of world sugar.


 Produce more than 30% of world ethanol.
Also:
 Generate more than 7 million Jobs.
 Some of our members also cogenerate
renewable electricity from sugarcane
biomass, which is key to promote
the sustainable development of Latin
America.
