You are on page 1of 10

Imagine you’re trapped in a

room that has no doors or

windows. Suddenly, the
room starts filling with
water, you’ve checked
everywhere and there’s no
way to turn it off. You know
that help is on the way, but
they won’t be there for at
least 5 minutes, while you
have 2 minutes until the
entire room is flooded. You
can’t hold your breath for 3
minutes either.
You’re flying on your private
jet. After a rough emergency
landing, a fire breaks out
where you’re staying. The fire
is spreading everywhere and
there’s a lot of smoke. You
have to find a way to survive
and escape.
You look around you and you
find 3 objects near you. A
small fire extinguisher, a hot
water bottle with a wool
cover, and a neck pillow.
Which one will give you the
best chance of survival?
A strange virus has spread
inside a lab. You’re a
scientist, who’s stuck
inside and can’t get out.
There are 3 doors in front
of you that lead outside,
but there are traps inside
these rooms. Inside door
number 1 there are flesh-
eating plants, inside door
number 2 there are huge
mutated wasps, and inside
door number 3 there are
starving mutated tigers.
On a walk in the woods,
you get bitten on the lower
leg by a snake, and there
is nobody around to help
you. You could try to suck
the venom out, if you’re
flexible enough for that.
Another option is to sit still
and apply a tourniquet to
the bite mark. Or you
could stay still and not
move the area where you
got bitten.
You are walking barefoot
and suddenly in front of
you, you see 3 boxes.
There is no other way for
you to go, you need to go
through one of those
boxes. The first box is filled
with hot coal, the second
box is filled with nails, and
box number 3 is filled with
broken glass. Which box is
your best bet of getting out
of this situation with the
least amount of damage?
After a long, exhausting drive you
stop at the side of the road and get
out of your car to stretch your legs.
Suddenly, in the distance behind
you, you see a big tornado coming
your way. You have only 3 options.
You could climb a tree to protect
yourself. You could find a ditch in
the ground and lay down in it. Or
you could try and make a run for
your car.

You have to act quickly to save

yourself. What do you think is your
best option to survive?
You are exploring the
jungle and you find
yourself standing in front
of an enraged elephant.
You have to act quickly to
save yourself. You have 3
choices.

Would you simply try to

run away? Would you
climb a tree? Or would
you find a hill to climb up
on to escape from the
elephant?
You find yourself stranded
in the deep waters of the
ocean, there’s no boat
there, and you don’t see
any others around you to
help you. A box floats up
next to you with 3 objects
inside: A baseball bat, a
pair of jeans, and
binoculars. You can’t use
the box, because it has
holes in it and it couldn’t
keep you afloat.
Which one of these
objects offers you the best
chance of survival?
You’re trapped in another room, but
this time the room is on fire. Of
course, the smoke inside is too thick
for you to be able to see the windows
and the door is blocked by the fire.
The firefighters are on their way, but
you need to think quickly to survive
while you’re waiting for help to get
there. You have 4 options.

Would you get on the ground and

stay as low as possible? Would you
get on a chair to stay close to the
ceiling? Would you take your clothes
off to stay cooler, or hide under a
desk?
It’s dark outside, you’re wandering
around in a desert under the
moonlight. You come across a tower
and an evil wizard is in one of the
windows looking at you menacingly.
He tells you that if you want to save
your life, you have to answer his
riddle. He asks you to guess the
height of the tower he’s in. Around
you, you see a couple of fallen tree
branches, the watch that’s on your
hand, and your own shadow.

Which one of these 3 things will

you use to measure the height of
the tower?
