 introduction

 Hospital management system is a project which aims in developing a computerized system to maintain all the information
of hospital entities.

 It has a facility of admin login through which the admin can monitor the whole system .

 Admin modules are managing patients, manage doctors, manage appointments, manage schedule .

 Patient modules are find doctors and applied for appointment, view appointment and view prescription.

 Doctors modules are view our appointments, write prescriptions, and view patient details.

 Overall this project of ours is being developed to help the hospital administration, maintain the hospital management in
the best way possible and also reduce the human efforts.
 Objective

 The main objective of this project is to manage the records of patients, doctors and appointments.

 Reduce the paper work and provide the 24x7 accessible website with user-friendly GUI to manage
the records.

 Our objective is by using this website patient can apply for appointment and also view doctor’s
prescriptions.

 This website is also become useful for doctors for viewing patient’s details and write prescriptions
to patients.
Purpose

 To manage the hospital administrative work. It helps to patients to find doctors details and take

appointment online from anywhere.

 This project also helps the doctors work such as keep information of patients and appointment

booking and helps in giving prescriptions to patients.

Project scope

 The project has a wide scope, as it is not intendent to a particular organization. This project is going to

develop generic software , which can applied by any businesses organization. More over it provide facility

to its users. Also software is going to provide a huge amount of summary data.
 Admin modules

 Dashboard: in this section admin can see all detail in brief like total number of patients, total number of appointment,
total number of active doctors ,total number of nurses, Total number of reports, total number of Employee.
 Appointment: in this section, admin can add the appointment and can view the list of appointment.
 Doctors: in this section, admin can add doctor ,change the active and inactive status of doctors and view the list of
doctors.
 Departments: in this section admin can add department name and view the list of department.
 Human resources: in this section, hr can add employee ,nurse and view the nurse list and employee list.

 Bed Management: in this section, admin can add bed and view the list of bed.
User(Patient)Modules

 In hospital management system project patient require to sign in.

 Appointment: Patient can take an appointment with department on particular date.

 Generate slip: Patient can generate slip appointment slip to visit hospital or clinic in offline mode to
the particular doctor name and department.

 View Prescription: patient can view their prescription given by the doctor.

 Patient can also update his password.

Doctor modules

 In hospital management system project doctor require to sign in.

 Appointment : Doctor can view our appointment details.

 Prescription :Doctor can write prescription to patients.

 Patient: Doctor can view the patient details.

 CONCLUSION AND SCOPE

 Future scope:
• this web application involves almost all the basic features of the online searching of
doctors and appointment management. The future implementation online will be help for
the users and chatting with website administrator.
• Conclusion:
 The project entitled “HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is using
HTML,CSS ,JAVASCRIPT, AND BOOTSTRAP as front end and Asp.net and Sql server
database for back end to computerized the process of online doctor searching and
appointment. This project is covered only the basic features required.
