Instructions:
• Work with your assigned groups. A copy of A Speech will be
given to each group. Decide one part that each of you will
deliver in class. Then, choose whether you want to deliver your
part in manuscript, as extemporaneous, or as memorized.
• Each of you will be assigned to evaluate one of your classmates
as he/she delivers the speech. Use the performance rubric found
on the copies distributed. At the end of the rubric, write the
strengths of the speaker as well as his/her areas for
improvement.
