What is Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS)?
The United Nations defines Civil Registration and Vital

Statistics (CRVS) as the "continuous, permanent,
compulsory and universal recording of the occurrence and
characteristics of vital events of the population in
accordance with the law.“

Vital Statistics and Its Sources
Vital statistics are derived from information obtained at the time when
the occurrences of vital events of a person.

 Certificate of Live Birth – Municipal Form No. 102
 Certificate of Death – Municipal Form No. 103
 Certificate of Fetal Death – Municipal Form No. 103A
