01 Introduction of Radar
What is VR10 Radar?
What is barrier gate radar?

VR10 radar can accurately detect vehicles and pedestrians through 79G
millimeter wave technology. It can be used in conjunction with barriers
to effectively replace the ground sensor and infrared radiation. It can
prevent smashing of pedestrians or vehicles passing the radar
detection area. After pedestrians or vehicles passing through the
detection area, the boom automatically falls, realizing intelligent anti-
smashing and falling boom function .

Equipped with red and green indicator lights, when the target appears
in the detection area of the radar, the green light is on.
After the target leaves the detection area, the green light goes out.

the radar detection area, the boom will return to the state of vertical
lift to avoid hitting pedestrians or vehicles.

2 ） Debug with DIP switch

The dial switch can be used to set the detection distance of the radar,
and can also make the radar learn the surrounding background

1.Distance Setting ： Set the distance according to the boom length,

and set the distance by DIP switch.

2.background learning ： The radar learns to record the surrounding

environment, and the process can be completed by dialing the code

FAQ

1)Problem: After installation, the green light of the radar is always on, and the boom do
not fall.
Possible cause: The Newly added strong reflector in the radar detection range needs to be
moved out of the radar field of view or re-learned for background learning.

2) Problem: The person is standing in front of the radar and the green light is not on.
Possible cause: The radar starts to detect the difference between people and vehicles
after the car triggers the radar light.

3) Problem: The red light of radar flashes when the 12V power supplied by the gate
control board is on.
Possible cause: It is recommended to connect an external 12V-1A power adapter.

or DIP switch.
2) Cannot be applied to other sliding doors and telescopic doors.
3) During background learning, ensure that there are no movable targets (vehicles, people)
other than the fixed environment within the radar detection range.
4) After changing the detection environment (such as installing a deflector, ice cream cone
in the detection area), please re-learn to record the environment again.
5) Under normal circumstances, please set the detection distance according to the length
of the boom. The detection distance is slightly less than or equal to the length of the boom
to prevent people or objects outside the barrier boom from being detected by the radar.
6) The 12V power supply needs to be connected externally, and it is unstable to take 12V
directly from the barrier controller.
